Shopify web store for beauty brand: minimalist and fully custom-made

The client:
ZuivereHuid.nl, a player in natural skincare, was looking for a fresh online look. We built them a modern Shopify store with a sleek, minimalist design – entirely based on the free Dawn theme, but enhanced with smart, custom-made sections for maximum flexibility and ease of use.
The result? A webshop that brings visual calm, is built for conversion, and ready to scale.

For this case, we built a complete Shopify webshop for a beauty brand, with the goal of creating a fresh look, an intuitive user experience, and maximum flexibility for the client.
We worked with Shopify’s free Dawn theme — a deliberate choice to stay within budget without compromising on quality.
On top of that, we developed custom sections to allow for greater design freedom and ease of management.

Design & Style
We chose a minimalist style that conveys trust and calm — perfectly suited to the wellness sector. Generous white space, soft colors, and an intuitive interface create a user-friendly experience on every device.
Platform & Tech
The website was built on the Shopify platform and is fully responsive. Thanks to the free Dawn theme, complemented by custom sections, ZuivereHuid gained a professional webshop without expensive templates or apps.
SEO
The basic SEO was set up correctly: logical URL structure, fast loading times, optimized headings, and a technical clean-up of the Dawn theme. Focus: visibility within the niche of natural skincare.
Extra
The webshop has been enhanced with functional UI/UX elements: a contact form for direct communication, smart upsell and cross-sell integrations, a connected Instagram feed for social visibility, and dynamic product and category templates for easy management. In addition, we integrated a clear megamenu, a blog for content marketing, digital downloads with free e-books, and a fully responsive design that works smoothly on any device.
